Not every dog feels comfortable in a traditional grooming environment. The Gentle Clean offers a calm, patient approach to basic grooming and hygiene, particularly for nervous, anxious or sensitive dogs.

Sessions are tailored to your dog's individual needs, working at a pace they can cope with while prioritising their comfort, welfare and confidence throughout.

Our Gentle Clean includes:

🐾 Gentle brushing and removal of loose fur
🐾 Gentle removal of small tangles and knots
🐾 Basic all-over trim, where needed or requested
🐾 Bath using a suitable dog-friendly shampoo, including medicated shampoo where appropriate
🐾 Gentle cleaning and trimming around the eyes
🐾 Ear cleaning
🐾 Nail clipping or filing
🐾 A gentle finishing brush for a clean, tidy appearance
🐾 Plenty of patience, reassurance and positive handling throughout

Our aim isn't to rush through a grooming routine. Instead, we want to create a calm and positive experience, helping your dog feel as comfortable and secure as possible.

Every session is adapted to your dog's individual needs, coat type and comfort level. For dogs who are particularly nervous, we can take a gradual approach, allowing them time to settle and become familiar with the process.

Where appropriate, handling and grooming skills can also be incorporated into an existing training or behaviour plan, helping your dog build confidence with grooming-related handling over time.
